Part of our presentations at Dataplex-Check Point Event Success Stories was about analyzing solutions that have played a key role in our customers’ growth.
The case of the Greek Motorway presented a brief historical review showing the gradual improvement of the infrastructure and safety of the network. Initially we showed the road network, which was fragmented, in various places which served the needs of the customer.
These needs gradually developed, resulting in the need for the restructuring of the infrastructure in order to have an effective organization and security for the network. Several years later and after numerous additions and changes, the network shown in the image below was formed. Firewalls were added in two places, ensuring the safe access of users and the safe use of IoT devices.
The presentation of the specific success story was completed with the analysis of the future challenges that the specific network infrastructure may face. The key challenge is maintaining security for IoT devices.
